Gage County Sets $10,000 Bond Following Arrest Near Beatrice

A bond of $10,000 was set in Gage County for Isaac W. Anderson, age 41, who was arrested on four active warrants out of Missouri. He is also being charged with obstructing a peace officer after he fled from authorities who were responding to a call from a resident early Saturday evening reporting a man they did not know was inside their home when they had returned.

Based on a description of the individual, Anderson was seen walking along East Hoyt Road, just east of Beatrice. He fled when authorities approached, and hid near a creek, where he was apprehended.

He attended Cowley College in Arkansas City and Johnson County Community College in Overland Park studying Journalism & Media Communications. In 2021 he moved to Audacy, formerly known as Entercom Communications, Inc. and 106.5 The Wolf and 610 Sports Radio, the new flagship stations of the Kansas City Chiefs Radio Network, the largest radio network in the NFL. Through all of this, Derek continues to serve as the Digital Media Director for Sunflower State Radio, the digital and social media operations of Dierking Communications, Inc. and the 6 radio stations it owns and operates across Kansas.
