Public Wi-Fi Coming To Marysville City Park Ahead of Mother’s Day Weekend

April 20, 2026 – Home, KS — Blue Valley Technologies (BVT) is excited to announce that residents and visitors will soon be able to enjoy free public Wi‑Fi at Marysville City Park, just in time for Mother’s Day weekend. This is part of an infrastructure project made possible by a matching grant program through the Kansas Office of Broadband Development’s ADOPT (Advancing Digital Opportunities to Promote Technology) Program.

The new public Wi‑Fi installation will provide reliable internet access throughout the park, supporting community gatherings, family events, and local activities. It will also enhance security and provide everyday connectivity for parkgoers. Whether sharing photos, accessing information, or staying connected while enjoying the outdoors, the service is designed to enhance the park experience for all ages.

“This project is about accessibility and connection,” said Candace Wright, CEO of BVT. “Marysville City Park is a place where families, friends, and neighbors come together. Providing public Wi‑Fi helps ensure everyone can stay connected, especially during busy weekends and community events.”

The ADOPT program supports broadband expansion projects that increase digital access and opportunity across Kansas communities. Funding through the program helped bring the necessary infrastructure to Marysville City Park, ensuring free and convenient connectivity in a central public space. Other local projects included in this grant award are the Frankfort City Park, Riverside Park in Blue Rapids and the Marshall County Fairgrounds.

This project reflects an ongoing commitment from BVT to improve digital access, support community spaces, and invest in infrastructure that benefits residents for years to come.

Anyone with questions about this or future projects is encouraged to call BVT at 877-876-1228.
