Two Hill City residents were injured Friday night after their vehicle struck a deer on US Highway 283 in Graham County, according to crash logs from the Kansas Highway Patrol.

PHILLIPS COUNTY, Kan. — A single-vehicle accident late Tuesday evening claimed the life of a Long Island, Kansas resident, state authorities report.

On July 13, 2026, the Innovation Center awarded $60,476 in grants to enhance childcare access in Northwest Kansas, benefiting for-profit facilities.
