The highly anticipated 2026 KSHSAA State Track & Field Meet is officially underway, bringing together the top high school athletes from across Kansas to compete for state championship glory. Whether you are rooting for a specific athlete or keeping an eye on the team standings, you can follow all the action unfold in real time.

How to Find Live Results Online

Fans, coaches, and families who cannot make it out to the stadium can stay updated on every race and field event from anywhere. Weather Watch & Event Schedule

Spectators and participants should stay alert to local weather conditions, as the meet schedule could face delays due to possible rain in the area.

As a reminder, the official KSHSAA time schedule is meant to serve as a guide. If the running event sessions happen to move ahead of schedule, officials will continue to run ahead without making adjustments.

According to the official tournament schedule, the classification order is structured as follows:

  • Friday Sessions: The first session features Class 4A competing first, followed by 5A and 6A. The second session switches over to Class 1A first, followed by 2A and 3A.
  • Saturday Sessions: Events will progress in numerical order starting with Class 1A, followed by 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, and finally 6A.

Event Highlights & Scoring

Field event action starts early on both days, with Session 1 kicking off Friday morning at 7:45 a.m. featuring events like the 5A Boys Long Jump and 6A Girls Triple Jump. Running events will start on Friday with the 4A, 5A, and 6A 3200m Run Finals at 7:45 a.m., moving into the preliminary rounds for multiple track events throughout the day. Saturday’s track action commences at 8:30 a.m. with the 1A through 6A Girls 100m Dash preliminaries, paving the way for a packed afternoon of finals and wheelchair division races.

Teams will be battling for every single point to secure a state trophy. Team scoring for each event is awarded to the top eight finishers as follows:

  • 1st Place: 10 points
  • 2nd Place: 8 points
  • 3rd Place: 6 points
  • 4th Place: 5 points
  • 5th Place: 4 points
  • 6th Place: 3 points
  • 7th Place: 2 points
  • 8th Place: 1 point
