Fatal Head-On Collision Under Investigation in Cloud County

CLOUD COUNTY, Kan. – The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal head-on collision that occurred Wednesday evening in Cloud County, approximately seven miles east of Glasco.

The crash was reported at 5:04 p.m. on US-24 highway, just north of 130th Road.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol’s online crash log, an eastbound vehicle on US-24 veered across the centerline, striking an oncoming vehicle head-on. The second vehicle subsequently rolled, collided with a guardrail, and came to rest in the north ditch.

Further details regarding the identities of those involved, including information on fatalities or injuries, have not yet been released as the investigation is ongoing.
