KANSAS STORYTELLING FESTIVAL – FRIDAY & SATURDAY IN DOWNS
The 31st annual Kansas Storytelling Festival will be held this Friday and Saturday (April 25-26) in Downs, Kansas. The Festival features nationally known storytellers: Ed Stivender, Priscilla Howe, Paul Strickland, Pippa White and Michael D. McCarty. Other opportunities are available to hear stories from Tall Tale tellers, Local Legends, Master Storytellers and a Swappin’ Ground where visitors tell their own stories.
The Festival begins at 1:30 Friday afternoon and continues through Saturday night with sessions at 4 different venues in Downs. Each evening, there will be story “Concerts” that begin at 7:00 and end at approximately 9:30pm.
