After Nearly 40 Years, Dr. Carl Fugate Retires from Beloit Medical Center

Beloit, KS – After a distinguished career spanning almost four decades, Dr. Carl Fugate is retiring from Beloit Medical Center, PA, effective December 31, 2025.

For nearly 39 years, Dr. Fugate has been a pillar of the Beloit community, serving as a trusted physician, colleague, and friend. His unwavering commitment to providing compassionate care has left a significant and lasting impact on countless patients and families. The staff at Beloit Medical Center expressed their deep gratitude for his many years of dedicated service and his contributions to the health of the community.

To ensure a smooth transition for his patients, Dr. Fugate’s practice will be taken over by Dr. Olivia You and Dr. Elizabeth Smith. The medical center has also announced that Megan Nease, who has worked alongside Dr. Fugate, will continue as Dr. Smith’s nurse to help patients feel comfortable and supported during this change.
