Blackhawks MC Hosts 2026 “Back the Pink” Poker Run to Support Local Breast Cancer Fighters

SENECA, KS — The Blackhawks Motorcycle Club (MC) is inviting riders and community members across the region to gear up for a cause on Saturday, September 12, 2026, for their annual charity event, “Back the Pink.”

This year’s Poker Run aims to raise funds to support two local women, Erin Wertenberger and Veronica Olmsted, who are both courageously battling breast cancer. Proceeds from the event will be split evenly between the two families to help offset medical expenses and ongoing support during their treatments.

Organizers emphasize that all vehicles are welcome—whether participating on two wheels, three, or four.

Event Schedule & Route Details

  • Registration: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Little Hap’s in Home, KS.
  • Hand Submission Deadline: All poker hands must be turned in by 5:00 PM at Legion Post #163.
  • Cash Prizes: Awarded for the best poker hands at the end of the run.

  2. Stop 2: Spanky’s (Seneca, KS)
  3. Stop 3: Sportsman’s Tavern (Onaga, KS)
  4. Stop 4: Boomer’s (Frankfort, KS)
  5. Stop 5: Sarge’s (Marysville, KS)

Post-Run Activities at Legion Post 163

The community is encouraged to gather at Legion Post 163 following the ride for a full evening of fundraising activities:

  • BBQ Dinner: Served from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Free-will donation).
  • Silent Auction: Bidding open from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
  • 50/50 Raffle: Half the pot goes to a lucky winner, with the remaining half directly supporting the cause.
