GLEN ELDER, KAN. – Residents across North Central Kansas experienced a jolt in the early hours of this morning as a series of earthquakes rattled the region, centered near Glen Elder.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the first and most significant tremor struck at 2:25 a.m., registering a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located on the south side of Glen Elder, at a depth of approximately 5 kilometers (3.1 miles).
