Kansas Farm Bureau awarded $500 grants to each of 10 FFA chapters, at the recent state meeting in Manhattan, with the Valley Heights FFA receiving a grant toward local projects in conjunction with Marshall County Farm Bureau. Also at the convention, Skuyler Zenger of the Washington County FFA chapter was elected as a state officer serving as secretary, and Nemaha Central High School was one of fourteen new chapters announced in the state.
