Football Night in Kansas returns tonight on the stations of Sunflower State Radio, with a full slate of high school football action.

KANSAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD SHOW

Join Eric Peterson for the Kansas High School Football Scoreboard Show at 10:00 PM tonight on KD Country 94. The show covers high school football scores, recaps and interviews from across Kansas. BELOIT TROJANS AT NORTON BLUEJAYS

The Norton Bluejays return home this week to host rival Beloit. Norton, still searching for their first victory of the season, is coming off a road loss to Minneapolis last week 28-7. Beloit on the other hand, only has a single victory this season, a week 1 win over Lyons 52-8, but 3 consecutive losses to Concordia (27-26), Southeast of Saline (50-0), and last week to Phillipsburg (40-28).

Clifton-Clyde Eagles at Washington County

The Clifton-Clyde Eagles hit the road this week for a Twin Valley League showdown with the Washington County Tigers. Clifton-Clyde comes in with a record of 3-1, with a loss to Hanover in week 2. The Eagles shutout Lakeside last week 46-0. Washington County opened the season with a 52-28 win over Blue Valley, but has lost 3 straight games, two of them shutouts. ABILENE COWBOYS AT MARYSVILLE BULLDOGS

The 2-2 Abilene Cowboys will hit the road this week to face the Marysville Bulldogs. Abilene comes in with road wins over NCKL rivals Chapman and Concordia, but losses to NCKL foes’ Clay Center and Rock Creek. Marysville has struggled a bit this year, and is still searching for their first victory of the season. Marysville with losses to Nemaha Central (48-0), Hiawatha (35-16), Wamego (34-8) and last week to Concordia (7-0). Catch Bruce Dierking with the call on KNDY AM 1570/94.1 FM.

PIKE VALLEY PANTHERS AT OSBORNE BULLDOGS

The KD Country 94 Game of the Week with John Boden will feature the 2-2 Pike Valley Panthers as they head to Osborne to take on the Bulldogs. Pike Valley enters the contest with wins over Rock Hills (56-6) and Waverly (28-20) and losses to Lakeside (30-28) and Lincoln (68-0). Osborne on the other hand, is 1-3 on the season, with a win over Hoxie to open the season (52-46) but a loss to Ell-Saline (54-6) and St. John’s/Tipton (58-24). A week 3 matchup against Victoria was ruled a forfeit by Osborne.
