Nemaha County, KS – A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m. in Nemaha County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ram Truck traveling southbound on W Rd. failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a 2017 Honda CR-V traveling westbound on US Highway 36.
William Novotny, a 35-year-old resident of Lawrence, Kansas, who was an occupant of the Honda CR-V, died from his injuries. The drivers and other occupants of both vehicles sustained injuries of varying degrees and were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the accident and further details are pending.
