Wichita Teen Fatally Shot, Suspect Arrested

A 13-year-old boy was tragically killed in a Halloween night shooting at a Wichita QuikTrip. Wichita Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman, Carrice Profit, on charges of 2nd Degree Murder in connection with the incident.

Another suspect, 19-year-old Jermall Campbell, is wanted on charges of Felony Murder, Aggravated Battery, and multiple counts of Aggravated Assault. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m. on October 31st at the QuikTrip located at Central and Oliver. A disturbance in the parking lot escalated, leading to gunfire that struck two individuals. A 15-year-old boy was injured, while the 13-year-old boy succumbed to his wounds.
