Kansas Man Arrested Following Post-Game Altercation

A 25-year-old Salina man, Donovan Green, is facing multiple charges after a confrontation near Kansas Wesleyan University on Saturday, November 2nd.

Following a football game, a group of three individuals were walking to their car when they encountered Green, who was allegedly yelling profanities. When the group asked him to stop, Green became aggressive, charging at one of them.

The victim was able to subdue Green until campus security and Salina police arrived. Even after being restrained, Green continued to resist arrest, spitting at one officer and head-butting another.

Green was booked into the Saline County Jail on charges of battery, battery against a law enforcement officer, interference, and disorderly conduct.
