Severe Weather Threat Shifts Southeast

Strong to severe storms are still expected this afternoon and evening, but with the front moving faster the threat area has shifted southeastward. The best chance for storms is now south and east of the Kansas Turnpike, with the better threat for severe weather being along and southeast of the I-35 corridor. Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain will be the main threats. Folks in the threat area should stay tuned for weather updates later today.
