AAA forecasts that over 692,000 Kansans will travel for Independence Day, with 84.5% driving to their destinations. Nationwide, 72.2 million travelers are expected. Top destinations include theme parks, entertainment venues, and European cities. Trends show interest in bucket list trips, milestone celebrations, travel insurance, cruises, all-inclusive vacations, rail vacations, and Asia trips, especially Japan. The survey reports growing interest in high-end cruises, rail vacations, and adventure in nature.
