Description

Experience is required, must be able to pass a welding test. Will weld a variety of steel types and thicknesses. Some aluminum is included. Primary welding process is GMAW (MIG) using semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment. Some GTAW (TIG) is performed. Must be able to set-up and operate welding equipment, including control of gas flow rates, amperage and voltage settings. Complete simple maintenance of the welding equipment by replacing normal consumables and welding gun/lead. Load and operate weld fixtures, able to read tape measure, understand weld symbols, complete simple shop math, use plasma cutting equipment, use air-arc gouging and oxy-fuel cutting equipment. Wage based on weld test results and experience. Must be able to lift 60 pounds. Attendance is considered important; must be willing to work overtime and be at work each scheduled workday. An additional 4% pay is available for employees who work their required weekly hours. $2.00 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift. Description

The individual will demonstrate a working knowledge of painting processes, operator safety, painting equipment, spray guns, pressure settings, paint viscosity, cleaning techniques, paint handling requirements and plant safety.

Set up and paint various small parts according to print, process, or special customer specifications. Responsible for putting out a high-quality product using skills and knowledge of Landoll paints and processes. The individual in this position is also given the opportunity of learning more about Landoll’s painting processes and gaining broader experience with various parts, assemblies and products.
