Wichita Duo Arrested in Abilene Following Stolen Vehicle Alert

ABILENE, KS – Two Wichita residents are facing multiple charges after Abilene police, alerted by a vehicle surveillance system, apprehended them in a stolen car on Thursday morning.

According to a media release, the Abilene Police Department received a FLOCK alert—a notification system that flags vehicles of interest—indicating a stolen vehicle from Wichita had entered the city. Officers quickly located the car at the Love’s Travel Center on Fair Road.

As police approached the vehicle, a passenger, identified as 26-year-old Daniel Natoli of Wichita, fled on foot. Following a brief pursuit, officers were able to take Natoli into custody. The driver, 24-year-old Ivey Graves, also from Wichita, was arrested at the scene.

Natoli is facing a number of potential charges, including theft, interference with law enforcement, and criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Graves is facing requested charges for possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of marijuana. The investigation is ongoing.
