All Charges Dismissed Against Nathan Robinson in Concordia Stabbing Case

Concordia, KS – A Cloud County judge has dismissed all charges against Nathan Robinson, the man previously accused of stabbing four individuals outside the American Legion in Concordia in early 2024. Robinson, who had faced four counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery, was granted immunity under Kansas’ self-defense law.

The ruling, issued by Twelfth Judicial District Judge Kim W. Cudney, followed a May hearing where Robinson’s attorney successfully argued that his client acted in self-defense. The incident, which occurred on February 3, reportedly began when a fight inside the Legion building spilled outdoors, leading to the stabbings.

New court documents reveal that video evidence presented during the hearing contradicted key witness testimony from the prosecution. This evidence supported Robinson’s claim that he was ambushed and attacked by a group of men outside the Legion building after an earlier altercation had taken place inside.

Judge Cudney found that prosecutors failed to present sufficient evidence to demonstrate that Robinson’s use of force was unjustified. Consequently, the court granted him self-defense immunity, leading to the full dismissal of all charges.
