Olathe Police Investigate ATM Strong-Arm Robbery

OLATHE, Kan. – Law enforcement officials are actively investigating a strong-arm robbery that took place just after 11:00 a.m. on Friday near the 13500 block of South Black Bob Road in Olathe.

According to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo, two unknown individuals reportedly obtained an undisclosed amount of money from an exterior ATM before fleeing the scene in a black Jeep SUV. The vehicle was later recovered nearby.

Following the incident, a comprehensive search of the area was conducted by police, but no contact was made with the suspects.

Authorities have provided descriptions of the two male suspects. One was described as wearing a black ski mask, a black plaid hooded jacket, black jeans, white tennis shoes, and black gloves. The second suspect was reportedly wearing a black ski mask, a white hoodie, red pants, white shoes, and black gloves.

While no weapon was displayed during the robbery, the victim sustained minor injuries.
