U.S. 36 bridge repairs to begin Wednesday in Washington County

On Wednesday, March 20, The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to begin bridge repairs on U.S. 36 in Washington County. The bridges are located over Camp Creek and Mill Creek on U.S. 36, just west of the city of Washington.

At the location of each bridge, temporary traffic signals will direct one lane of traffic through construction at a reduced speed.

PCI Roads, LLC of Saint Michael, Minnesota is the prime contractor for this $728,198 project and has scheduled work to be completed in August, weather permitting.

KDOT urges all motorists to be alert and obey the warning signs when approaching and driving through a highway work zone.  To stay aware of all road construction projects across Kansas, go to www.kandrive.org or call 5-1-1.
