WATERVILLE — Local drivers should expect increased activity and potential delays north of Waterville early next week due to scheduled bridge maintenance.
Infrastructure company GeoTech is set to begin work on and below the 4th Road bridge spanning the Little Blue River on Monday, July 6.
While local officials confirm that traffic will still be permitted to cross the bridge during the operations, a high volume of workers and technical activity will be present on, under, and around the structure throughout the day.
Road crews are urging motorists to stay alert and exercise extreme caution when traveling through the work zone. To ensure the safety of both the public and the field crews, drivers are highly encouraged to plan ahead and utilize alternate routes if possible.
