Marysville Community After Hours Kicks Off Summer

Summer gets its unofficial start on Broadway during Community After Hours on Wednesday, May 20.

The 1200 block of Broadway will be closed from 5 to 6:30 p.m., and everyone is invited to grab a hot dog, ice cream cup, snacks and something to drink while enjoying an evening downtown.

The May event will include karaoke, Hot Wheels races, face painting, games, entertainment for all ages and a drawing for prizes.

The evening is hosted by 12th Street Liquor, Bite Me Barbecue, Marysville Dental Care, Pony Express Title Company and the departments of the Marshall County Courthouse.

Community After Hours is a monthly OneMarysville event created to bring people together in different parts of the community. Each month gives people a reason to connect with local businesses and residents.

The event is free to attend and open to everyone.

Authorities discovered he was sourcing chemicals and stealing anhydrous ammonia. Beck faces multiple charges and is currently in jail, with the investigation continuing.
