πŸ€ Bidunga’s Career-High Lifts No. 25 Kansas Past Princeton, 76-57

LAWRENCE, Kan. β€” Flory Bidunga exploded for a career-high 25 points, shooting a stellar 10-of-11 from the field, as the No. 25 Kansas Jayhawks defeated the Princeton Tigers 76-57 on Saturday.

The victory moves Kansas to 3-1 on the season, though the win was hard-earned. Princeton (2-2) played at its pace in the first half and stayed close early in the second before a decisive run by the Jayhawks pulled the game out of reach.

Second Half Surge Seals the Win

Princeton proved a tough opponent, utilizing strong perimeter shooting to repeatedly cut into the Kansas lead. After the Jayhawks opened the second half with a 10-point advantage, Tigers guard Jack Stanton hit a pair of timely 3-pointers, including a four-point play, to trim the deficit to just 39-36. Dalen Davis, who led Princeton with 21 points, later hit a three to make it a one-point game at 44-43 with 14:23 remaining.

However, the Jayhawks finally delivered the knockout blow, unleashing a dominant 17-3 run midway through the second half. A key three-pointer from Jayden Dawson less than two minutes after the one-point scare put Kansas back up by double digits. The Jayhawks’ lead swelled to their largest of the day, 73-51, as they cruised to the final score.

Bidunga Dominates the Paint

Forward Flory Bidunga was the undisputed star of the contest. After a slow start for the team, Bidunga stepped up late in the first half to lead all scorers with 15 points at the break and finish with an efficient 25 points for the game. Tre White was also instrumental for the Jayhawks, adding 18 points.

For the visiting Tigers, Dalen Davis finished with 21 points, while Jack Stanton contributed 15 and Jackson Hicke chipped in 12.

Up Next: Champions Classic Showdown

Kansas faces a quick turnaround as they travel to New York City for the 2026 State Farm Champions Classic.

The Jayhawks will take on Duke on Tuesday, November 18, with tip-off scheduled for 8 p.m. Central from Madison Square Garden. Kansas holds an impressive 3-1 record against Duke in the Champions Classic and has won five of the last six matchups in the overall series.
