MARYSVILLE, KS – A section of U.S. Highway 77 north of Marysville is scheduled to close for four days starting Wednesday, August 20th, for railroad crossing repairs. The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) announced that the closure will begin at 6:00 a.m. and is expected to last until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23rd.
The closure affects the area between U.S. 36 and the Nebraska state line, located approximately one to two miles north of Marysville. All traffic will be rerouted to a designated detour.
Motorists are advised to follow the official detour route:

- Travel west on U.S. Highway 36
- Turn north onto Kansas Highway 148
- Continue east on Nebraska Highway 112
- Rejoining U.S. Highway 77 south of Wymore, Nebraska.
KDOT urges drivers to use caution in the area and to follow all posted signs and detours. The repairs are necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of the railroad crossing.
