The Kansas Highway Patrol is observing an ongoing trend of drivers exceeding posted speed limits. Despite recent snowstorms and subsequent road clearing efforts, some motorists are reverting to dangerous speeding habits.
On Sunday, in McPherson County, Trooper Jason Fraser issued a citation to a driver traveling at 100 mph in a 75 mph zone on I-135, just north of the Moundridge exit. This incident was reported on the Kansas Highway Patrol’s social media channels. The driver was issued a $150 fine.
