Hunter Renfroe’s home run in the sixth gave the Royals a temporary lead, but the Yankees responded with a seven-run rally. Gleyber Torres, Juan Soto, and Judge contributed key hits to spark the comeback.

Carlos Rodón pitched six innings for the Yankees, while Brady Singer started for the Royals. Jake Cousins, Luke Weaver, and Ian Hamilton combined for three scoreless innings of relief for New York.

With the win, the Yankees improved to 83-61, while the Royals fell to 79-66.
