A Clay Center resident, David Dean, was in a three-vehicle collision north of Clay Center. Dean's SUV veered across the center line, colliding with a Dodge Caravan, then was hit by a semi. Dean, 64, sustained a serious injury and was taken to Clay County Medical Center. The others involved did not require hospitalization.
