Kansas to Play Two ESPN Big Monday Contests in 2026-27

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas men’s basketball will play two ESPN Big Monday contests in the upcoming 2026-27 season as the Big 12 announced its five Big Monday matchups today.

Kansas at Houston on Feb. 1, will be the first Big 12 Big Monday game of the upcoming season. KU will later host Iowa State on March 1, concluding the conference’s Big Monday slate.

Kansas has played more ESPN Big Monday contests, 110, than any other conference school. The Jayhawks are 85-25 (72.3%) all-time on ESPN Big Monday, including 66-17 (79.5%) under head coach Bill Self (since 2003-04). Additionally, KU 52-1 in Allen Fieldhouse on ESPN Big Monday, including 41-0 under Self.

Treats on Broadway Part of Black Squirrel Fall Fest
