MISSION, Kan. — The Johnson County Officer Involved Critical Incident Team is investigating an early morning shootout between a burglary suspect and police outside a Mission Target store on Sunday.

Law enforcement in Atchison County is investigating a burglary at Progress Rail, which occurred early Sunday. Police arrested 36-year-old Keith D. Williams on Tuesday, who was already in custody for a separate warrant. A search warrant executed at his residence recovered most stolen items. The investigation continues.
