TOPEKA, KS – The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Freeze Watch for a large portion of central, north central, east central, and northeast Kansas, effective from late tonight (Wednesday, October 29, 2025) through Thursday morning.

The watch warns of the season’s first significant freeze, with temperatures expected to drop as low as 31°F.
