Two Scott City Men Killed in Rural Scott County Crash

SCOTT COUNTY, Kan. — Two men from Scott City were killed Saturday morning in a two-vehicle collision in rural Scott County, according to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP).

The fatal crash occurred at approximately 9:53 a.m. at the intersection of Eagle Road and Road 160, which is located nearly one mile north of Kansas Highway 96.

The KHP preliminary investigation indicates that a 2006 Subaru Tribeca, driven by 31-year-old Sye Micheal Voth of Scott City, was traveling southbound on Eagle Road. At the intersection with Road 160, the Subaru reportedly failed to yield and was struck by a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The Dodge was being driven eastbound on Road 160 by 39-year-old Kenneth Lloyd Lee Crow, also of Scott City.

Following the impact, both vehicles left the roadway and came to rest in a field situated south of the intersection.

Tragically, both drivers, Sye Micheal Voth and Kenneth Lloyd Lee Crow, were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
