The Lakeside High School golf team secured first place at the St. John’s Invitational Golf Tournament, demonstrating strong play and consistency across the team.
The tournament, held Glasco, featured several area high school teams. The final team scores highlighted Lakeside’s impressive performance, with a total score of 304.
Other participating teams included Riley County (329), Rock Hills (341), and St. John’s (346). Clifton-Clyde (356), Logan (363), Tipton (373), and Lincoln (411) also competed in the tournament.
Individual results showcased some excellent scores, with Jace Cunningham from Lakeside leading the pack with a 69. Harvey Lister from Riley County followed with a 72, and Eli Schmitt from Lakeside carded a 74.
