St. John’s and Osborne Claim Top Spots at St. John’s Track & Field Invitational

Mankato, KS – The St. John’s Invitational Track & Field Meet concluded on Tuesday at Rock Hills High School, bringing together twelve area high school teams for a day of competitive athletics. Bennington, Osborne, St. John’s, Tescott, Lakeside, Rock Hills, Sunrise Christian, Thunder Ridge, Lincoln, Sacred Heart, Sylvan-Lucas Unified, and Tipton Catholic high schools all participated in the event.

In the Boys Varsity competition, St. John’s High School emerged as the overall champion, racking up a total of 141 points across the 18 completed events. Lincoln High School secured the second-place position with a score of 98.5, closely followed by Rock Hills High School, who finished third with 95.5 points. Rounding out the top five were Thunder Ridge (51.5 points) and Tescott (49 points).

The Girls Varsity competition saw a different victor, with Osborne High School claiming the top spot with an impressive 156 points. Sacred Heart High School finished in second place with 71 points, while Rock Hills High School once again demonstrated strong performance, securing third place with 60 points. St. John’s finished fourth with 55 points, and a tie for fifth place saw both Lincoln and Sylvan-Lucas Unified each scoring 48 points.
