An Augusta school district employee, 73-year-old William A. Wetzel, was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The arrest came after school administrators discovered video footage of the incident, which occurred on a school bus the previous day. Augusta police were immediately notified and launched an investigation.
Authorities believe the incident was isolated, with no other children involved. Wetzel was apprehended at a remote school facility and booked into the Butler County Jail.
