A tragic farming accident claimed the life of a 70-year-old man on Wednesday afternoon in Sedgwick County, Kansas.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. near Mulvane, where David Humbolt was working on a large John Deere combine. According to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, a piece of equipment malfunctioned and collapsed, fatally injuring Humbolt.
Emergency services responded to the scene, but Humbolt was pronounced dead.
