Royals Rally In 7th Inning To Beat Brewers 3-2

Michael Massey smashed a home run and Maikel Garcia delivered a two-run single during a seventh-inning rally that propelled the Kansas City Royals to a 3-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. The game’s start time was adjusted to 6:10 p.m. to avoid anticipated thunderstorms, which fortunately held off until after the game concluded.

After struggling against Milwaukee’s starting pitcher Bryse Wilson, the Royals found success in the seventh inning against the Brewers’ bullpen. Massey’s 412-foot homer off Jared Koenig kickstarted the comeback, followed by Garcia’s clutch hit with the bases loaded. Cole Ragans pitched six solid innings for the Royals, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out eight, while Nick Anderson earned the win with a scoreless seventh inning.

Gary SĆ”nchez provided offense for the Brewers with a two-run homer in the fourth inning, aided by the windy conditions. Despite Wilson’s strong performance, the Royals managed to break through in the seventh inning to secure the win.

The series will continue on Tuesday with Colin Rea pitching for the Brewers and Seth Lugo taking the mound for the Royals at 6:40 p.m. at Kauffman Stadium. Tune in to KQNK 106.7 FM, 102.5 FM & 1530 AM for pregame coverage starting at 6:00 p.m.
