On July 17, 2025, radio stations 94.1 KDNS-FM and 96.3 KZDY-FM resumed full power after successful transmitter repairs from lightning damage sustained in May. During the interim, listeners accessed streaming services online. The restoration enhances signal strength for audiences throughout North Central Kansas, ensuring reliable service going forward.

KD Country 94 is debuting a new radio show, Cassette Tape Country, every Saturday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, celebrating country music from the 1970s to the 1990s. Available on-air and online, fans can contribute song requests for future episodes, enhancing community engagement and nostalgia for classic country tunes.

Radio stations in Glen Elder, Kansas, are facing outages and reduced power following a lightning strike. Classic Rock Z-96.3 operates at low power, while KD Country 94 is off-air.
