LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks will host Missouri in the StorageMart Border Showdown at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. CT on national television, FOX announced on Friday.

It will be Kansas’ second nationally televised Friday night home game over the past two seasons, as the Jayhawks opened the new David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on FOX against Fresno State in 2025.

The Kansas vs. Missouri rivalry has been played 121 times dating back to 1891, which is tied for the 10th-most played rivalry in all of college football. Kansas owns the all-time series lead in games played in Lawrence, 26-16-3, while Missouri holds a slight advantage in the all-time series, 57-55-9.

Kansas’ matchup with Missouri is the second game on the 2026 slate for the Jayhawks, as Kansas will host Long Island for the season opener on Friday, Sept. 4. Kansas will play six games at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in 2026, including Long Island (Sept. 4), Missouri (Sept. 11), Middle Tennessee for Family Weekend (Oct. 3), Baylor for Homecoming (Oct. 24), UCF (Nov. 7) and BYU (Nov. 21).
