Mid-Content League Announces 2025-26 Basketball All-League Honors

The Mid-Content League has officially released its All-League selections for the 2025-26 basketball season, honoring the top high school athletes across North Central Kansas. This year’s honors highlight a deep talent pool, with standout players from Phillipsburg, Thomas More Prep, Oakley, and several other competitive programs.

Boys’ All-League Highlights

Leading the way for the boys on the First Team is EJ Hall, a senior from Phillipsburg, and Jacob Sieb, a junior from Thomas More Prep. Joining them on the top squad are Joey Dintino (Plainville), Ty Schmeidler (Thomas More Prep), and freshman sensation Vladon Crawford from Trego Community.

The Second Team is anchored by seniors Brant Wilson (Smith Center), Sam Thielen (Russell), and Vincent Zohner (Hill City), alongside sophomore Grant Nehls (Thomas More Prep) and Trenton Schartz (Ellis).

Girls’ All-League Highlights

On the girls’ side, Oakley dominated the First Team selections with Alexa Weiser and the unanimous pick, Chesney Marshall. They are joined by Hoxie’s Allie Gourley and Evie Schippers, as well as Norah Mooney of Russell.

The Second Team features senior leadership from Chloe Van DerVeen (Phillipsburg), Claire Schippers (Thomas More Prep), and Tegan Lang (Trego Community), while the Third Team includes a mix of experienced juniors and seniors like Avery Mauck of Hoxie and Rylie Minium of Hill City.
