๐Ÿ Kansas Volleyball Association Announces 2025 All-State Teams, Players, and Coaches of the Year

Overland Park, Kansas โ€“ The Kansas Volleyball Association (KVA) is delighted to announce the selections for the 2025 All-State Teams, including the prestigious Players of the Year and Coaches of the Year awards for each classification. The complete list of honorees was released on November 16, 2025.


Class-by-Class Highlights

๐Ÿฅ‡ Class 6A

The top classification saw Peyton Kubik from Blue Valley West named Player of the Year, while her coach, Jessica Horstick of Blue Valley West, earned Coach of the Year. Kubik, a junior, was an Outside Hitter on the First Team.

๐Ÿ† Class 5A

Grace Martin, a Senior Outside Hitter from St. Thomas Aquinas, was selected as the Player of the Year. St. Thomas Aquinas also claimed the Coach of the Year title, awarded to Sarah Ikenberry.

๐ŸŒŸ Class 4A

The Player of the Year for Class 4A is Hayden Grimes, a Senior Outside Hitter from Andale. The Coach of the Year award was given to Scott Johnson, also from Andale.

๐Ÿš€ Class 3A

Sofia Simic, a Junior Outside Hitter from Hoisington, was honored as Player of the Year. Sarah Johnson from Silver Lake was recognized as the Coach of the Year.

๐Ÿ’ช Class 2A

Regan Widener, a Senior Right Side from Ellinwood, secured the Player of the Year title. Greg Maxwell of Ellinwood was named Coach of the Year.

๐Ÿ’Ž Class 1A Division 1

Arika Feldman, a Senior Middle Hitter/Setter from Little River, was selected as the Player of the Year. Kim Rolfs of Little River was awarded Coach of the Year.

๐Ÿ’ก Class 1A Division 2

The Player of the Year title went to Gretchen Bott, a Junior Setter/Right Side from Linn. The Coach of the Year was Amy Bott of Linn.
