35th Infantry Division Band performs Summer Concert Series

As summer gets into full swing, the 35th Infantry Division Band, the official band of the Kansas Army National Guard, is making its annual Summer Concert Series tour in Kansas communities. Concerts include selections of march music, show tunes and popular hits. All concerts are free and open to the public.

The band’s schedule runs July 9-19 with concerts on the following dates and locations:

July 10 – Topeka

Evergy Plaza, 1630 S. Kansas Ave. 7:30 p.m. In concert with Topeka Cello Collective

July 11 –Emporia

Fremont Park, E. 4th Ave. and Union Street. 7 p.m. In concert with the Emporia Municipal Band.

July 12 – Olathe

Stagecoach Park, 1205 Kansas City Road, 7 p.m. In concert at Olathe Live!

July 13 – Topeka

Topeka Farmer’s Market, 6th Ave. and SW Harrison Street, 9 a.m.

July 13 – Olathe

Black Bob Farmer’s Market. 14500 W 151st Street. 9 a.m.

July 14 – Topeka

Gage Park Amphitheater, 600 SW 6th Street. 7 p.m. In concert with Marshall’s Civic Band.

July 16 – Overbrook

Brookside Health and Rehabilitation, 700 W. 7th Street. 6:30 p.m.

July 18 – Kansas City, Kansas

Legends Field, 1800 Village West Parkway. 6:30 p.m. Bullseye Brass Quintet will play the National Anthem.

July 18 – Bonner Springs

Kelly Murphy Park, 129 Elm Street. 8:30 p.m. In concert with the Bonner Springs City Band.

July 19 – Wichita

Riverfront Stadium, 275 S. McLean Blvd. 6 p.m. National Anthem for Wichita Wind Surge Baseball Game
