Severe Storms Overnight Cause Damage

As of 11:45 AM 95.5 FM, 94.1 FM and 1570 AM are all back on the air. Our internet stream is also back originating programming for each station as normal.

As of 6 am on Wednesday, both KNDY studio and both Marysville transmitters are still experiencing a power outage. This is a result of a powerful storm that occurred overnight, causing strong winds that brought down several tree limbs and power lines. Crews have been deployed across the area to restore service, while Marshall County Emergency Management is currently evaluating the extent of the damage. Initial assessments indicate that the Frankfort area may have been the most severely affected. Fortunately, apart from a vacant trailer house being damaged by the wind gusts, there have been no other notable structural damages or reported injuries.

Both KNDY streams are simulcasting programming from our sister-station KD Country 94, KDNS-FM, Downs/Beloit.
