NFL Announces First Two Opponents For The Kansas City Chiefs

The upcoming 2024 NFL season is still a few months away from commencing, however, the Kansas City Chiefs’ first two opponents have already been confirmed by the league. Following their consecutive Super Bowl victories, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his team will kick off the season at home at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, September 5th. They will face off against quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in a highly anticipated 7:20 p.m. kickoff. This game will serve as a rematch of the AFC Championship game, which the Chiefs emerged victorious with a score of 17-10.

In the second week of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs will once again take the field at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, this time against the Cincinnati Bengals. This matchup will mark the sixth time these two teams have met in the past three seasons. Unfortunately, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was sidelined during their last encounter due to injury. The game against the Bengals is scheduled for a 3:25 p.m. kickoff on Sunday, September 15th.
