Sporting Kansas City has acquired 21-year-old midfielder Owen Wolff from Austin FC for $4.5 million, plus an additional $3.1 million in performance incentives. A standout player, Wolff recorded 10 goals and 23 assists in 147 matches for Austin. He joins Sporting KC under a contract through June 2031 as a U22 initiative player.

Sporting Kansas City has traded forward Dejan Joveljic to the Seattle Sounders for $6 million, allowing them to utilize the funds for roster improvements. Joveljic, who scored 26 goals in 55 matches, will free up a Designated Player slot for Sporting KC as they aim to enhance competitiveness and pursue trophies.

The Kansas City Royals traded left-handed pitcher Angel Zerpa to the Milwaukee Brewers for outfielder Isaac Collins and right-handed pitcher Nick Mears. Collins, 28, had an impressive first full MLB season, while Mears, 29, bolsters the bullpen with solid stats. This trade strengthens the Royals’ roster ahead of the upcoming season.

Sporting Kansas City has traded forward William Agada to Real Salt Lake for up to $850,000 in General Allocation Money. The deal includes $500,000 in 2025 GAM and $350,000 in 2026 GAM if Agada re-signs. Sporting also acquired Santiago Munoz on loan before this transaction.
