The Dane G. Hansen Foundation has awarded scholarships to 229 high school seniors from 47 Northwest Kansas schools in its 51st annual competition. Awards include the Hansen Leader of Tomorrow scholarships at $10,000 and Hansen Scholar awards at $6,500, with additional scholarships for career and technical education.

The Kansas Farm Bureau’s Foundation for Agriculture awarded $26,500 in scholarships to 45 students for the 2025-26 academic year, promoting future leadership in agriculture. Additionally, county Farm Bureaus provided over $160,000 to nearly 200 students. Various scholarships were distributed to individuals across several Kansas colleges.

The Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition (KBC) awarded $10,000 in educational scholarships to support lactation support providers in underrepresented communities. This initiative aims to address racial and geographic inequities in breastfeeding by cultivating a diverse workforce. With over 90% of families choosing to breastfeed in Kansas, the KBC continues to strive for equity in lactation support.

The Kansas Farm Bureau’s Foundation for Agriculture awarded $26,500 in scholarships to 45 college students studying fields benefiting agriculture and rural Kansas for the 2024-25 school year. Over the past decade, the foundation has given over $250,000 in scholarships, aiming to foster future leaders in the field.
