Kelly signs law shifting Kansas toward driving license restrictions rather than suspensions

Sen. Oletha Faust-Goudeau's new bill in Kansas allows individuals to drive with restricted licenses while making payments on traffic fines. The law limits license reinstatement fees and allows for reduction or waiver of court costs. Gov. Kelly also signed bills on drone restrictions, wildlife commission changes, parental consent for minor healthcare, and opportunities for juvenile offenders.

Cloud Co. Comm. College Lowering Cost Of Dual Credit Classes

Cloud County Community College is making college more accessible for high school students by waiving fees for dual credit courses starting fall 2024. President Amber Knoettgen emphasizes accessibility and affordability, saving families $141 per three-credit hour course. High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors can enroll in college-level courses for both high school and college credit. For enrollment, contact the high school counselor or email April Benne.
