The Mid-Continent League has announced its 2026 High School Volleyball All-League selections. The first team is led by junior Alexa Weiser from Oakley, recognized as a unanimous choice. Other notable players include Adi Gottschalk and Brynn Rebel from Thomas-More Prep, and various talents from Smith Center, Hill City, and Norton.

The 2026 North Central Kansas League volleyball all-league selections have been announced, showcasing standout players. Clay Center dominated with four first-team honors, including seniors Raimee and Lily Lipker. Notable mentions include Rock Creek's Lucy Martinie and Abilene's Josephine Keener. Recognition also extends to a strong second team and honorable mentions.

The Kansas State High School Activities Association announced state volleyball champions this Saturday. The champions include Hanover (Class 1A Division II), Linn (Class 1A Division I), Ellinwood (Class 2A), and Hesston (Class 3A). Each class featured semifinal and final matches leading to these results.

Hesston and Holton emerged as semifinalists in Pool I and Pool II, respectively. Hesston defeated Lakin and Frontenac, while Holton won against Beloit and Cheney. Silver Lake also reached the semifinals after competing strongly against multiple teams. The third place and championship matches will follow the semifinals.

Wabaunsee and Ellinwood dominated their respective matches in Pool I, with Ellinwood winning against Wabaunsee. In Pool III, Moundridge and TMP-Marian also showcased strong performances. The semifinals feature Ellinwood against TMP-Marian and Moundridge facing Rossville, with third place and championship matches to follow shortly after.

In recent volleyball matches, Little River, Goessel, and Centralia showcased their skills in Pool I, while Linn, Blue Valley, and St. John's/Tipton competed in Pool II. Centralia and Linn are set to face off against Blue Valley and Little River, respectively, in the semifinals, leading to upcoming championship matches.
