Marysville Community Foundation to Celebrate Historic First Office with Ribbon Cutting and Open House

MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Community Foundation is marking a major milestone in its history, preparing to open the doors to its very first permanent office location.

The organization will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on Monday, November 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the new downtown office located at 719 Broadway. Attendees can look forward to light refreshments, an opportunity to tour the new space, and a special major announcement from foundation leadership.

A New Home for Community Impact

For executive director Ashley Kracht, securing a dedicated storefront in the heart of downtown Marysville represents a transformative step forward for the organization’s outreach and operational capabilities.

“Having an official home allows us to meet with donors and non-profits in a private place, and also helps us increase organizational recognition for the Foundation,” Kracht said.

Since its inception, the foundation has focused on bridging the gap between philanthropic residents and local charitable organizations. Kracht emphasized that the prominent downtown location will serve as a year-round hub to help community members achieve their charitable and tax-deductible goals.

“Our goal is to connect donors who care about sustainable funding for our community with the critical nonprofits who are doing the vital work our communities need to thrive, now and into the future,” Kracht added. “Having a prominent office location in downtown Marysville allows us to continue telling that story, and help new people meet their charitable goals year-round!”
