JACKSON COUNTY, KS – A routine traffic stop on Friday morning resulted in the arrest of two Sabetha residents on multiple drug-related charges, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Incident Details
Sheriff Tim Morse reported that a sheriff’s deputy pulled over a 2009 Hyundai Sonata shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The stop occurred on U.S. Highway 75 near the intersection of 126th Road.
Arrests and Charges
Upon investigation during the stop, both the driver and the passenger were taken into custody:
- D’Angelo Crosby, 44: Arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Debbie Shefferd, 68: Arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Following the roadside investigation, the couple was transported and booked into the Jackson County Jail.
